Case Study for existing account XYZ: -

  • This client has been with Travelcorp for 8 years
  • Annual reviews are conducted
  • Spend of $1.5M split 80% Domestic and 20% International
  • This business is a national operation and flights over 4 hours are allowed in business class

With 90% of domestic expenditure with Qantas and Jet Star the first transition was to push travellers down into the Supa-Saver bands with existing supplier. This strategy still allows current frequent flyer alliances to be maintained but can deliver significant savings to the group.

b. Average Ticket Price for XYZ client was $594.17. With tickets in K pushed to S class would result in a $300 reduction or 49% saving

2. Virgin deals vary but can deliver additional benefits of between 2% and 5%. The more of you domestic expenditure you push to Virgin Blue the greater the discount

3. Move to the Qantas American Express card program delivered a 3% cash back to client
