Day 1  Arrive Athens
Arrive Athens airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2  Athens
Today you will be picked up from your hotel for a half day tour of Athens.  Visit the Parthenon, the Museum of Acropolis and the Orthodox Cathedral.   Pass the Byzantine Museum, the former Royal Palace, the Stadium and the Agora, among many attractions of this historical city.  Afternoon at leisure to explore or relax. (B)

Day 3  Athens
Free time until you depart under your own arrangements to the airport. (B)

Combine a visit to southern Greece with the charm of the north for a comprehensive tour rich in history.  Visit all the famous sites in a trip you will always remember.

Day 1  Athens - Nafplion
Travel to ancient Corinth to view the historical ruins before continuing to Mycenae where you will visit the Lion Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace.  Continue to Nafplion for lunch and then on to Epidaurus to visit the Theatre renowned for its superb acoustics.  Overnight in Nafplion.  (D)

Day 2  Nafplion-Olympia
Enjoy the scenic drive to ancient Olympia, passing the sites of Sparta, Tripolis and Kalamata.  Arrive in Olympia in the late afternoon and overnight.  (B, D)

Day 3  Olympia - Delphi
This morning you will visit the original 30,000 seat Olympic Stadium, the Sanctuary of Zeus and Archaeological Museum.  After lunch depart Olympia and cross Corinthian Bay by ferry for the picturesque town of Nafpaktos.  Continue along the scenic coastal road to stay overnight in Delphi.    (B, D)

Day 4 Delphi
Explore the museum and the historical ruins, with the afternoon at leisure.   (B, D)

Day 5   Delphi - Kalambaka
After a scenic drive through central Greece you will arrive at Kalambaka, before spending the afternoon visiting Meteora and the nearby ancient Byzantine monasteries.  (B, D)

Day 6 Kalambaka - Thessaloniki
Depart Kalambaka in the morning for the famous town of Dion, which was considered sacred in Macedonian times.  Continue to Thessaloniki for an afternoon of sightseeing.  (B, D)

Day 7 Thessaloniki
The morning will be spent visiting the sites of Phillipi and Kavala before returning to Thessaloniki for an afternoon of leisure.  (B, D)

Day 8 Thessaloniki
After breakfast you visit the picturesque towns of Pella and Lefkadia, then return to Thessaloniki.  (B, D)

Day 9  Thessaloniki - Athens
Return to Athens via the Tempi Valley and Thermopylae before being dropped off at your hotel.  (B)

Day 1  Athens - Nafplion
