Israel

The "promised land" of the Bible, Israel was the site of many important events in the history of mankind. Today Israel's modern, vibrant cities offer a cosmopolitan atmosphere, but the echoes of the past still reverberate thoughout this timeless land. The holy city of Jerusalem welcomes a constant stream of pilgrims of all faiths.

Eilat, site of numerous summer resorts at the entrance to the Red Sea, is still the busy seaport it was during the reign of King Solomon and Beer Sheva with its commanding views of the Negev Desert is truly majestic.
