Day 1  Arrive Amman
Arrive Amman airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  Overnight in Amman.  (D)

Day 2  Amman - Jerash
Begin today with a city tour of Amman before continuing to the well preserved Roman ruins of Jerash where you will have time to explore.  Return to Amman in the early evening.  (B, D)

Day 3  Petra
Today you will visit the majestic city of Petra, a leisurely three hour drive from Amman.  Travelling on horseback through the narrow gorge that leads to this city you will be overawed as you arrive in front of the ancient Treasury building.  Spend time exploring Petra before returning to Amman.   (B, L, D)

Day 4  Depart Amman
Free time until your transfer to the airport or to the border crossing for your next adventure.  (B)

DESERT EXPERIENCE
For an adventure you will never forget undertake a safari in the Wadi Rum Desert.  Spend the days enjoying perfect solitude or take a trek on a camel.  As night falls admire spectacular sunsets over the arid landscape of the vast desert and by night relax under the changing colours of the moon.    Full details available on request.

Day 3 Madaba - Mt Nebo - Petra
Depart for Petra stopping enroute at Madaba, famous for its mosaics. Continue to Mt Nebo which commands spectacular views of the Dead Sea. Overnight in Petra.   (B, D)

Day 4  Petra
Spend the day exploring the majestic ancient city of Petra and the nearby caves of the Natabean people.  Overnight in Amman.        (B, L, D)

Day 5   Depart Amman
Free time until your transfer to the airport or to the border crossing.  (B) 

Option Day 3 Desert Castles
Today will be spent discovering fascinating desert castles, many built by Omayad Caliphs in the 8th century AD.  Overnight in Amman.  (B, D)
